My Friends are Insane

I’ve made some really awesome friends here on Tumblr. Some awesome and very talented friends who, for whatever reason, have made me pictures and stories and other silliness, and I think their geniuses need to be shared with the world. Check out these ladies’ blogs, they are all fabulous too!

I commissioned lokisswagga to draw me a Siege-era Loki, and this was the result. She had been struggling to draw his hands (which came out quite well, I think), and I made a crack about giving him Canada mittens - so that was one of the first things she drew upon getting her new tablet, although she drew Kid Loki in mittens. (She takes commissions! Get on that!)

I also commissioned a sketch card from serrifth of Kid Loki. She threw in Ikol as well. Early in our friendship, she was working on a piece featuring Lady Loki and some comment I made about boobs inspired her to create this. Neither of us regrets anything. (She also takes commissions! What are you waiting for?)

raucous-villainy was taking requests when she got 100 followers, and I requested this little piece of magic. I guess this one wasn’t made for me in the way the other ones were, but it is too cute and needed to be here.

I requested a Lady Loki drawing from ashdisneyc88 when she was playing around with her new tablet. She did a wonderful job, and takes art requests every Tuesday, so you too can have a piece like this one! Art Request Tuesday also resulted in this silly doodle of my favourite trio, Tom + Loki + Pudding. And then, by request, she made me this amazing Frankenstein art, and sent it along with an adorable crocheted crocodile named George!

Early on in the Thor movieverse RP that I ran with lonelywerewolfgirl, Thor and Loki engaged in a long and detailed conversation with Loki’s Waffle Iron, which inspired littlestarlolo to illustrate this ridiculous situation.

likeahammertothecrotch drew me with Loki in class one day when I was feeling sad. She’s on Tumblr, so I will count this.

Melancholywise drew me a porpoise! Isn’t he cute??

I guess my housemates don’t count as Tumblr friends, but this happened on Tumblr and would never have happened without it: thistumblrhasaporpoise and bowties-and-bananas wrote some jokey slashfic involving Tony Perkins (Norman Bates) and Hiddles (or Loki). I explain what led to the creation of these stories and present them to you here.

Oh, and this happened. I need it here for posterity.

My Tony/Loki army

I don’t pretend to be the first (or most prominent) to sail this perfect ship, but I really felt like it wasn’t getting enough love. I have made it my mission to make it as popular as possible, and some lovely people are helping me do that by creating things that are far sexier and more convincing than my oft-unintelligible posts on the subject. Consider this a sort of mini rec-list, although I’m happy to point anyone in the direction of works that don’t have my name attached to them as well.

Goddamnhella is working on an awesome Loki/Tony fic for me (or at least with my encouragement - I just want to plug it here because it is great). Part 1 is here, and it just gets better and better with each update.

ENORMOUS GREEN LOVE MONSTER aka ByronxHulk OTP

This one requires a bit more explanation. I asked my followers one night to “tell me something they secretly like about me” (Tumblr meme), but I asked them to make up silly stuff. pitbap said that she liked that I have a crush on the Hulk. I went along with the joke for a few posts, and forgot about it. Apparently others did not forget about it, and I continued to get messages asking me about my undying love for the Hulk. Eventually the jokes led to pitbap’s Hulk blingee and fluff ficlet (don’t worry, there’s no Hulk sex). Littlestarlolo and ashdisneyc88 took the joke even further, illustrating my wedding to the Hulk, and drawing our wedding portraits, respectively.

You can see where the “insanity” part comes in.

Unfortunately, I can’t really offer you anything in gratitude other than these shameless plugs… and also Blingees. I’m pretty decent at Blingees.
