Part of Your World

Okay so I finally did it… here’s a quick recording of me singing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, a perennial favourite of mine. I’m not warmed up, I’m trying not to be too loud lest other people in the building hear me, I think I’m getting a cold, and I’m shy, so this certainly isn’t my best. Not to mention that this song is kind of right on my break, so it’s a bit awkward, but I’ve been singing it for everything since I was 7 (when I sang it in the school talent show), so I decided to start with it for sentimental reasons.

I start off really shaky, but I gain confidence about 2/3 of the way in, and I think I end pretty well… I must be tired though, since my lisp is really showing through in a few places.

You should really check out my housemate who’s like a bajillion times better than I am.
